In 1946 Amélie and Henri ABTEY found the Abtey chocolate factory in a small 20 sqm shop located in Mulhouse (Alsace, France).

In 1974 was constructed a new chocolate factory on 3,000 sqm in Heimsbrunn.

In 1986 Abtey enters big chains of stores and expands its buildings.

Abtey is specialised in filled chocolates.
